People always tell you..kids grow up so fast! Literally, my son grows like a wild weed and I feel like I am constantly buying him new clothes. Currently, my go to shops and websites are Baby Gap ( (I feel like they have way better sales online than they do in their stores), Old Navy, H &M, Carters, Zara and Children's Place.
I like shopping at Children's Place for their pajamas. It's hard to find size 12 months + pj onesies, and Children's place offers them at a very affordable price. I recently bought my son 2 pairs of pjs for $3 each ( on clearance).
Zara has more of an edgier urban feel to their clothing ( faux leather jackets, vintage looking t shirts and etc), which I find is pretty rare in kids clothing.
Gap and Old Navy are my go to places for basic everyday play clothes, although they do have cute dressy wear for babies/ toddlers.
